M32 Series Mediterranean, in Genova Neverland is the leader

Genova – After two days of close racing the M32 fleet is showing its best in the ‘corniche’ of the Genoa Boat Show.
The Sailing Series M32 vip lounge, located in a strategic position of the boat show is offering its hopitality to the competitors and their guests, as well as, to the sailing friends that are coming to visit the boats show that is facing a plus 20% compared to 2016 expecting more than 160.000 visitor during this week end.
After two days of close sailing the series is lead by Neverland of Guido Miani (Tortarolo/tactician) with 18 points, followed by Vitamina Veloce of Andrea Lacorte (Minsky/tactician) with 26 points that today suffered some technical problem to the traveller and team Alabarda of Stefano Cherin.
Italia Sailing Team, unfortantely, is facing a problem with the fittings of the gennaker forestay that forced the team to stop during races, both yesterday and today.
A problem that should have been finally fixed and the team will be at the start of tomorrow’s distance race.
Start will be at 11:00 am just a sequence of time in front of the 200 boats that will be sailing the ‘Millevele’, a great sailing show organized by the Yacht Club Italiano that is the hosting club of this Sailing Series M32 event.
It will be interesting to see the M32 cats on a distance of about 15 nm showing all their skills and speed along the race course that will start in front of the Genoa Boat Show, heading to south in direction of the famous Portofino mountain and its natural park.
