Hydroptere, in corso le operazioni di recupero

[singlepic=1181,250,170,,left]Vela e record – Port Saint Luis du Rhone – Tutto il team dell’Hydroptere è al lavoro davanti a Napoleon Beach nel tentativo di completare il recupero del multiscafo che ieri, dopo aver raggiunto i sessantun nodi di velocità, si è ribaltato.

Dopo aver atteso la diminuzione del Maestrale, gli uomini di Alain Thibault stanno tentando di raddrizzare la barca avvalendosi di una gru. Una volta ristabilito l’assetto corretto, l’Hydroptere sarà trasferito a La Seyne sur Mer dove verrà tirato fuori dall’acqua e sottoposto ai necessari lavori di ripstino.

Sulla felice riuscite delle operazioni grava la minaccia meteo: un peggioramento dello stato del mare o del vento potrebbe costringere i tecnici a sospendere il recupero o, peggio, potrebbe danneggiare ulteriormente la barca.

HYDROPTERE, VERY DELICATE OPERATIONS 
Sail and record – Port Saint Luis du Rhone – All the members of l’Hydroptère team left at daybreak this morning to prepare for the towing of the trimaran off Napoleon Beach at Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. It was not possible to bring the boat back yesterday, due to strong winds and the state of the sea.

L’Hydroptère will be towed this morning to Port de Bouc, where she will be turned over with the help of a crane. She should then be taken to La Seyne sur Mer, where she will be taken out of the water.

All these operations being very delicate, the engineers and technicians are taking all precautions, hoping that the weather conditions will not make things more difficult.
