J/70 Europeans 2023, Weymouth is preparing

Weymouth – Rooster has signed on as a sponsor for the J/70 European Championship taking place in Weymouth this September.  

The Championship event is set to be the largest international one-design keelboat event in the UK in 2023, and has already attracted nearly 80 teams from 19 countries as far afield as Mexico, Australia and Turkey.

Rooster will be selling their range of keelboat clothing on site at the host venue WPNSA in Portland throughout the event as well as providing financial support and prizes.

Managing Director of Rooster Luke Morrison said: “We are very pleased to be getting involved in the J/70 fleet, starting to build on what we hope will become an enduring long-term relationship. Our team will be showcasing a selection of our technical clothing products at WPNSA this September where we are thrilled to be a part of what I am sure will be an exciting J/70 European Championship.”

The event takes place from 1 to 9 September and is being run by the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA).
