[singlepic=848,250,170,,left]Melges 32 Winter Up – Ancona – Come anticipato da Zerogradinord.it lo scorso 27 novembre, la classe Internazionale Melges 32 ha annunciato ufficialmente le date dell’Audi Winter Tune-Up Meetings, una serie di raduni utili agli armatori e agli equipaggi per preparare al meglio la prossima stagione. Sponsorizzati da Audi, B-Plan e Nautiservice, i meeting si svolgeranno ad Ancona e a Varanzze.
Il format degli incontri si articolerà su allenamenti mattutini, svolti sotto la guida del coach della nazionale italiana Guglielmo Vatteroni, e regate pomeridiane. garantita anche la presenza del coordinatore di Melges Europe, Federico Michetti, che metterà a disposizione degli equipaggi la propria esperienza.
Diversi sono gli armatori che hanno dichiarato la loro adesione. Tra questi Filippo Pacinotti di Brontolo, Stefano Di Properzio di Mataran, Antonello Morina di Sei Tu 32 e Mauro Moccheggiani di Rush Diletta.

EUROPEAN MELGES 32 FLEET ANNOUNCES WINTER TUNE-UP SCHEDULE, SPONSORED BY AUDI
[singlepic=849,250,170,,left][Melges 32 Class Press Release] Following a spectacular summer of European Melges 32 racing during the 2008 Audi Sailing Series, the International Melges 32 Class Association is pleased to announce the dates for the Audi Winter Tune-Up Meetings. This double series of weekend sessions include coaching and racing — the brainchild of European Melges 32 Fleet Representative Filippo Pacinotti and Marco Laurino. These meetings are generously supported by Melges Europe, Audi, B-Plan and Nautiservice, Ancona.
The format for the weekends will be coaching sessions each morning, followed by fleet racing in the afternoon. During the coaching sessions, which will take place under the watchful eye of Italian Olympic coach Guglielmo Vatteroni, participants will be able to practice their starting and general boat handling. Additionally Melges Europe’s Federico Michetti will also be on hand to offer advice and feedback to all the teams. The afternoon sessions will comprise of a series of short races giving crews a chance to put what they learned into practice.
Several Melges 32 owners have already confirmed their attendance including Filippo Pacinotti’s Brontolo, Stefano Di Properzio’s Mataran, Morina Antonello’s Sei Tu 32 and Mauro Mocchegiani’s Rush Diletta. Lanfranco Cirillo’s Fantasticaaa, who despite just two weeks ago having organised a memorable team party on Lake Garda, with a Melges 20, Melges 24 and Melges 32 all sailing, is nevertheless raring to go again too.

Each day will commence promptly at 09:00. Boats will be stored between events at the Nautiservice facility in Ancona.
