Milano – Protagonista indiscusso dell’Audi Melges 32 Sailing Series, Samba Pa Ti ha una nuova casa virtuale. Semplice e immediato, il sito internet del Melges 32 di John Kilroy e del team manager Federico Michetti è stato concepito con l’idea di regalare un punto di ritrovo a familiari e supporter del team statunitense che, come annunciato nella news di presentazione, focalizza ogni sforzo sul Campionato Mondiale in programma a Palma di Maiorca verso la fine di settembre.

[Source Samba Pa Ti] We have put this website together so that our families and our friends everywhere can be a part of the Samba Pa Ti adventure during our campaign. As the season progresses we will be posting regular updates, stories, interviews, videos and action photos from each of the regattas. You can also follow us on Facebook via the Samba Pa Ti Fan Page.

As well as training hard in the run up to the 2011 World Championship in Palma, Majorca this September, the Samba Pa Ti team has also been competing successfully at Melges 32 events in the US and Europe. After finishing in fourth place at the season opener event in Key West, Florida in January, we went on to win the Miami Championship in March. Since then we have been honing our skills against the best Melges 32 crews in the world on the european Audi Sailing Series finishing in second place at the opening event in Naples, Italy last month.

Right now the team has just flown in from around the world to Scarlino, Italy, to celebrate the launch of the our new website and to prepare for the second Audi Sailing Series event which kicks off here in a couple of days time.
