Louis Vuitton Pacific Series, Damiani con Italia Challenge

[singlepic=1448,250,170,,left]Louis Vuitton Pacific Series – Milano – Damiani, luxury brand italiano di gioielli di alta gamma, parteciperà alle regate della Louis Vuitton Pacific Series in programma ad Auckland dal 30 gennaio al 15 febbraio 2009.

Dopo i successi e le esperienze mediterranee che da qualche anno legano Damiani al mondo delle regate con il Maxi Yacht Ourdream – vincitore di Trofei come Pirelli, Zegna e Barca dell’Anno nel 2006 – la maison entra nel circuito d’eccellenza della vela mondiale sponsorizzando il team Italia Challenge capitanato da Vasco Vascotto.

Organizzate insieme al Governo della Nuova Zelanda, Emirates Team New Zealand, Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, alla Città di Auckland e a Sky City Entertainment Group, le regate della Louis Vuitton Pacific Series riuniranno nel mitico Hauraki Gulf di Auckland ben 10 sindacati del circuito dell’America’s Cup dando vita al più prestigioso evento velistico del 2009.

I 10 team si affronteranno inizialmente in un Round Robin (girone di qualificazione) al termine del quale, indipendentemente dal risultato, Emirates Team New Zealand avanzerà di diritto sino alla finale. Gli equipaggi qualificati per i turni successivi si contenderanno il diritto di disputare la finale contro i kiwi in match ad eliminazione diretta.
