Audi MedCup, Lorenzo Bressani sarà al timone di Luna Rossa

[singlepic id=34 w=300 h=200 float=left]Audi MedCup – Marsiglia – Sarà Lorenzo Bressani il timoniere del TP52 di Luna Rossa nel corso della prossima tappa dell’Audi MedCup. Il timoniere triestino, attualmente impegnato a Numana alla barra di Uka Uka Racing e già campione del mondo Melges 24 e J-24, prenderà il posto di Robert Scheidt, cui era toccato il compito di guidare il team di Patrizio Bertelli nelle acque di Cascais.
Gli organizzatori e gli equipaggi, intanto, sono al lavoro in vista del secondo evento della stagione che si correrà tra qualche settimana. Il Trofeo Marsiglia, infatti, inizierà ufficialmente il 15 giugno, con le regate di prova ufficiali dei TP52.
Sebbene sia stato Emirates Team New Zealand ad aggiudicarsi l’evento inaugurale di Cascais, lo scorso mese, abbiamo visto delle interessanti prestazioni da parte di numerosi team, a partire da quello franco tedesco AudiA1 Powered by All4One, con il ‘duo’ Schuemann-Col. Certamente a Marsiglia il team farà di tutto per guadagnarsi il tifo ‘di casa’.
Per quanto riguarda le GP42 Series, il campione in carica, José María Ponce e il suo team, Puerto Calero, conducono con 10 punti su Madrid-Caser Seguros condotto da Paolo Cian. Le loro regate inizieranno il 16 giugno con la prova ufficiale.

Audi MedCup – Marsiglia – Lorenzo Bressani will be at the helm of Luna Rossa in the next step of the Audi MedCup. Former Melges 24 and J-24 world champion will replace Robert Scheidt.
Preparations by the Audi MedCup GP42 and TP52 teams and by venue hosts are continuing as the second Audi MedCup event of the 2010 season looms on the horizon. The Marseille Trophy starts with the official practice race for the TP52 Series on Tuesday 15th June.
While Emirates Team New Zealand won the first regatta of the season last month in Cascais, there was a promising showing from Jochen Schuemann, Sebastien Col and the French-German team on Audi A1 Powered by All4One who finished second. On ‘home’ waters they will be up for trying to go one better and break the Kiwi monopoly.
At the GP42 Series, defending champion, José María Ponce’s Puerto Calero, leads by 10 points over Paolo Cian’s Madrid-Caser Seguros. Their racing schedule starts on June 16, with the official practice race.
