America’s Cup, udienza aggiornata a lunedì

[singlepic id=4613 w=300 h=204 float=left]America’s Cup – New York – Dopo circa un’ora di dibattimento, il giudice Shirley Kornreich ha aggiornato l’udienza odierna alla giornata di lunedì. Il togato statunitense, dopo essersi ritirato in camera di consiglio, ha dato quindi tempo alle parti e ai periti per cercare di raggiungere un accordo sulla località dove svolgere la 33ma America’s Cup e sugli altri punti ancora in discussione.

Il nostro yacht club, la Société Nautique de Genève, Defender dell’America’s Cup e il Golden Gate Yacht Club, il challenger, hanno concordato di incontrarsi a New York nel corso dl questo fine settimana per discutere in merito alla sede della 33ma America’s Cup. Lunedì mattina dovremo tornare tutti davanti al giudice Kornreich e speriamo, nel frattempo, di aver raggiunto un accordo”.

Today’s hearing at the New York Supreme Court was productive. Both sides – Golden Gate Yacht Club and the America’s Cup defender Société Nautique de Geneve – have agreed to meet on the venue and timing issues over the weekend and report back to Justice Kornreich on Monday. We are hopeful an agreement can be reached.

AMERICA’S CUP, HEARING POSTPONED UNTIL MONDAY
America’s Cup – New York – After one hour hearing, Justice Shirley Kornreich has postponed it until monday, in order to give time to the sides to reach an agreement on pending issues and 33rd America’s Cup venue.

Société Nautique de Genève’s comment
Lucien Masmejan, Société Nautique de Genève legal counsel: “Today’s hearing before Justice Kornreich was productive. Our yacht club, the Société Nautique de Genève, the America’s Cup Defender and the Golden Gate Yacht Club, the challenger, have agreed to meet in New York over the weekend to discuss the venue for the 33rd America’s Cup. We are due to report back to Justice Kornreich on Monday and are hopeful an agreement can be reached.”

Golden Gate Yacht Club’s comment
