America’s Cup, SNG risponde alle accuse del GGYC

America’s Cup – Valencia – La Société Nautique de Genève ha replicato alla lettera del challenger che si riferiva al recente meeting di Singapore: “Nessuno di noi era presente a Singapore ed entrambi dobbiamo fare fede alle informazioni ricevute dai rispettivi team. La vostra accusa a un velista conosciuto e rispettato in tutto il mondo è senza fondamenta e davvero sleale. I rappresentanti del Golden Gate Yacht Club hanno chiaramente la responsabilità del fallimento delle trattative. Infatti, mentre gli emissari di Alinghi partecipavano ai lavori di Singapore in buona fede, gli avvocati del Golden Gate Yacht Club presentavano alla Suprema Corte di New York una causa non corretta e priva di basi legali su di un argomento (Costruction in Country) che era oggetto delle trattative stesse…”

AMERICA’S CUP, SNG RESPONDS TO GGYC ACCUSATIONS
[Source Alinghi] Société Nautique de Genève has replied to the challenger’s letter regarding the recent meeting in Singapore: “None of us were in Singapore and we both have to rely on the reports we received from our teams. Your accusation against a highly respected sailor is without grounds and very unfair. Golden Gate Yacht Club’s representatives clearly bear the substantial responsibility of the negotiations’ failure. While Alinghi representatives were acting in good faith in Singapore, Golden Gate Yacht Club lawyers filed a factually and legally baseless motion with the New York Supreme Court on a topic (Constructed in Country) that was a subject of those negotiations…”.
