America’s Cup, la 33ma edizione si svolgerà secondo le regole ISAF

America’s Cup – Southampton – L’International Sailing Federation (ISAF), organo che gestisce l’attività velica a livello mondiale, e la Société Nautique de Genève, detentore e fiduciario dell’America’s Cup, hanno annunciato quest’oggi che la 33ma America’s Cup si svolgerà secondo quanto previsto dal Deed of Gift, dai regolamenti della Société Nautique de Genève, dal regolamento di regata e dalle normative ISAF.

Ogni eventuale modifica ai regolamenti e alle normative ISAF che non siano previste dai regolamenti stessi saranno passabili di sanzioni da parte dell’ISAF.

Il Principal Race Officer, i membri della Giuria Internazionale e gli umpire (se si utilizzerà l’Appendice C del regolamento), sarà nominata dall’ISAF tra una rosa di personale adeguatamente qualificato. Il processo di selezione è già iniziato.

ISAF ANNOUNCES RULES FOR THE 33RD AMERICA’S CUP
[Source ISAF] The International Sailing Federation (ISAF), the world governing body of the sport, and the Societe Nautique de Geneve (SNG), the trustee and holder of the America’s Cup, are pleased to announce that the 33rd America’s Cup Match will be conducted under the Deed of Gift provisions, the SNG rules, the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing and ISAF Regulations as required by the Deed of Gift.

Any changes to the ISAF Rules and Regulations not already covered by provisions within the ISAF Rules and Regulations will require sanction from ISAF.

The Principal Race Officer, International Jury members and International Umpires (if Appendix C is used), will be suitably qualified personnel and will be independently appointed by ISAF. The process of which has already begun.
