America’s Cup, il GGYC nomina Bryan Willis come consulente

[singlepic id=570 w=300 h=204 float=left]America’s Cup – San Diego – Il Golden Gate Yacht Club ha comunicato alla Société Nautique de Genève di aver scelto Bryan Willis come perito di parte in vista dell’udienza in programma davanti al giudice Shirley Kornreich il prossimo 4 novembre. Si attende ora che anche il defender nomini il suo perito. Toccherà a quest’ultimo, assieme a Willis, sceglierne un terzo, indipendente.

Brian Willis è un volto molto noto dell’agonismo velico internazionale. Conosciuto come uno degli esperti di regolamenti più preparati al mondo, ha pubblicato due libri dedicati a tale argomento ed è da oltre trent’anni nel Comitato Tecnico dell’ISAF. Il suo curriculum comprende quattro campagne di Coppa America in qualità di componente della Giuria Internazionale e Capo degli Umpire. Inoltre è stato membro della Giuria in occasione dei Giochi Olimpici di Sydney e delle ultime due Volvo Ocean Race.

AMERICA’S CUP, GOLDEN GATE YACHT CLUB HAS NOMINATED BRYAN WILLS AS AN EXPERT WITNESS
[Source Golden Gate Yacht Club] The Golden Gate Yacht Club advised the Société Nautique de Genève on Saturday that they have nominated Bryan Willis as one of the three expert witnesses for the hearing called by Justice Kornreich in the New York Supreme Court on Wednesday.

Alinghi will also have to nominate their expert who, together with Bryan Willis, will have to nominate a third, independent one. We have no information on who Alinghi‘s expert will be.

Bryan Willis, as his sailing CV clearly shows, is undoubtedly one of the most authoritative experts:
