America’s Cup – Valencia – Secondo quanto risulta a Zerogradinord.it, David Tillet, presidente della Giuria Internazionale della 33ma America’s Cup, avrebbe scritto ad Alinghi e BMW Oracle Racing – e a tutte le parti coinvolte – per smentire quanto riportato nella lettera spedita ieri sera dal GGYC al defender, secondo la quale lo stesso Tillet avrebbe dichiarato pubblicamente che “… una parte (ndr, Société Nautique de Genève) avrebbe ostacolato la sottoscrizione dell’accordo di Singapore…”.
Tillet sosterrebbe di essersi limitato a commentare che il meeting, affrontato con spirito costruttivo da ambo le parti, è stato molto utile e che, tanto lui quanto il delegato ISAF, David Kellet, nutrono fondate speranze di contribuire comunque al raggiungimento di una soluzione “pacifica” della controversia.

America’s Cup – Valencia – According to our sources, David Tillet, president of the International Jury for the 33rd America’s Cup, would have write to Alinghi and BMW Oracle Racing – and to all parties involved – to deny the statements attributed to him – “…one side ‘balked’ at signing the Singapore agreement…” – in the letter sent yesterday by Golden Gate Yacht Club to the defender.
Tillet would argue that he had merely comment that the meeting was constructively by both parties, it was very useful and that both him and ISAF delegate, David Kellet, have well-founded hopes to contribute to the achievement of a “peaceful” solution of the dispute.
