Abramovich e il poker, c’è la smentita ufficiale

LifeSail on Sui Generis – Londra – Il portavoce di Roman Abramovich, John Mann, ha dichiarato che la notizia secondo la quale il magnate russo, presidente del Chelsea, avrebbe perso uno yacht da 500.000 Euro giocando a poker on-line è del tutto infondata.

“La storia è assolutamente, completamente e interamente falsa” è stato il commento ufficiale dello staff di Abramovich.

La notizia si era diffusa nel corso della settimana scorsa ed era stata battuta da numerosi siti internazionali e quotidiani, tra i quali La Repubblica, La Gazzetta dello Sport e Moskovsky Komosomelets.

[Source Motor Boat Monthly] Reports that Roman Abramovich lost a $500,000 yacht in a game of poker have been strongly denied. “The story is absolutely, completely, entirely false,” said Abramovich’s spokesman John Mann.

Russian daily newspaper Moskovsky Komsomelets reported that the Russian billionaire lost one of the yachts from his sizeable fleet while playing poker in Barcelona last week. Several other Russian newspapers, including Izvestia and Trud, published the story, giving Italian newspaper La Repubblica as their source.
